This was over 2 years after Tegan and LB broke up. They were already working together again, and Tegan was already dating Sofia, who we know she is now married to.
LB likely dated someone (maybe even multiple someones) in the 2 years after Tegan. The above couple tweets are most likely about that person. There are other tweets around 2016 that talk about things indicating she dated someone who was Not A Good Person (like about sociopaths and pathological liars - her words, not mine).

This tells me she told the new woman about things and got her safely away from the Bad Person. Being that Tegan and Sofia are married, this was obviously not about them.
@asenseofsymmetry Apologies for hijacking your post, but it had the screenshots. None of this is to @ you. I’m @ing the anon(s) sending wild nonsense to multiple people. All of the things you and others are being sent were discussed years ago, numerous times, and it’s a bit weird to rehash them all again and again when it’s been so long (and when all the things were mostly debunked except to a few people who want to hold onto their theories).
I’m including other unrelated topics and stuff send to other people. There’s just been a LOT I’ve been ignoring the last couple days, and like @quinship said, there’s just a lot of inflammatory anons.
Lastly, Tegan is a decent person, raised by a therapist, goes to therapy often, and has gone to therapy a crap ton over decades - she does not strike me as the kind of person to tell someone to “reel it in” if she honestly thought they were crying out for help.
I’m sorry, but the fandom has become very Transphobic towards FTM fans and only lesbians are apparently allowed to listen to them? When did these new age TikTok kids take over?
What? How? I haven’t noticed this. I myself don’t identify as a lesbian. Do you have a specific incident? I am not on all socials and I have been busy lately that I don’t keep up with what the fandom is saying, but last time I checked, their fans were old and barely knew TikTok (I might have missed a few chapters).
I can guarantee there’s nothing in the anon’s question. At most, one person or one small group of people are being shitty to another person or small group of people.
TnS fans are, as a whole, extremely open and welcoming. Literally TnS tell transphobic assholes to fuck off and don’t buy their stuff and don’t listen to their music, etc. Not quite the band transphobic assholes would latch onto.
This, especially being anon and mentioning precisely zero specifics, sounds like someone trying to stir up drama that doesn’t exist.

I feel there’s a good chance it’s the same person. They probably are very bored and feel the need to find something that entertains them. Those of us being messaged are more ignoring and not creating all the drama the anon wanted, so this would be a new angle.
